I wanted to night fish but never done so at Caesar's creek, is that allowed? Or illegal? I certainly don't want to get a trespassing charge or something of that nature? Thanks.

You can? Nice! I wasn't sure as I never attempted it and didn't want any trouble......I have no boat so I was going to just fish at the boat docks for some crappie. In these summer months I've had a heck of a time trying to find and catch crappie. I know during the summer they like to hold in deeper water but have read crappie will move shallow at dusk and night to feed so I'm really hoping to catch some from shore! Anyone ever night fish for crappie from the bank at caesar's? How did you do?

Usually a bunch of people fishing for crappie at night at CC boat ramps. That was a couple of years ago.
I've been having some nice luck fishing the lake at night. With the water temps being up this time of year, night has been the best time.
I have been fishing from my boat using green LED lights. I have had good luck in areas near the bridge as well as a new hump area I recently discovered.
I went fishing the other night (after the rain) with a buddy and we ended up taking home almost two limits of crappie between 9.5 and 12". We fished with jigs and with minnows under bobbers. One pole of each for both of us. Caught plenty both ways. I didn't have counters, but a guess would be 3 or 4 throw-backs to 1 keeper. With practice and lessons learned, my ratio is improving :-)
We caught WB on top of the hump and crappie at the dropoff around it. Water temp was about 82deg. Fished mostly in 25-30FOW. Most were caught 12-15ft down.
I took a buddy out Sunday night...

Went out last night (was already dark). Not much of a breeze and the lake was calm. Water temp was about 81deg.
Fishing was slow at first and nothing hitting a jig, only minnow under a bobber. Tried normal spots (up to 40 FOW).
Moved to a slightly different area and started catching in 20FOW. Some small/medium crappies, but WB were active and caught those mostly. A little later both crappie and WB were hitting jigs too. I had a number of times where I caught doubles up (two jigs about 18-20" apart).
Ended up catching several gills and one cat. Largest crappie was 11". Largest WB was approx 16-17" (didn't measure it)

Water temp last night was 71 deg. Not a lot of activity in the areas I had been fishing. A few people were fishing off the docks at the Furnas Shore ramps and were catching a number of crappie but most were dinks. I didn't stay as late as usual and may have missed the peak time?
Went out Weds night. Water temp was still 71ish. Fish appear to be thickening up. Ended up catching about 70 fish. Mostly crappie, but did catch a few WB and some gills. I caught only a few dink crappie, but most were 9" or better.
Most fish were caught on jigs but later in the evening they started hitting minnows under a bobber.
Ended up keeping 12 crappie 10" and over.
