Guys, you did better than I did...I had that PEPE LE PEW smell until I went home and showered.
Fished from 9:30 till 11:30 and fought the wind the entire time...refused to move and it cost me for being stubborn! lol
Not a single bite, but with my line bowing out like a rainbow it was hard to tell! Put on a 1/4 oz to no avail...tried everything to make something bite, but I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and I knew it!

Went to CJ this morning for the first time, since CC is a such a mess. I was on the prowl for the big momma crappie in deeper water..... Fished from 6:30 -11. Didn't do to bad. Caught 8 of them over 11in. Mostly females and most were still full of eggs. Kept three for lunch/dinner. :-) Used minnows and blk/char hair jigs. Seem to like both.

Congrats Smoore....Welcome to our little Crappie Factory...you did pretty good for the windy conditions! I'll be out tomorrow looking for the Big Slabs also, and trying to get rid of my "smell" from Tuesday!

Went back to CJ today. Fished from 8:30-12:30. A lot better day today then yesterday. More big females. Couple more 13's and 12's. Alot of 10-11's. Unlike the ones I caught yesterday some of them had already spawned out. They must be liking the warm weather we are having. Water temp was almost 72 when I left.

Hit CJ today a little after 9 this morning. Some good rain to help refresh her. Water temp on the finder showed 72.9.

Lots of people fishing off the break wall at the docks as well as off the floating pallet dock attached to the courtesy dock. Also saw a fella cast netting some good size bait for kitties. Talked with a few and they all had baskets full of bluegills. Marina was hopping also. Both inside the marina break walls and the outside. Lots of people fishing from shore all around the lake.

Love seeing so many people out fishing. Did have to remind a couple grown men that they left behind quite a bit of trash. They claimed it was not theirs but I told them I saw ya from my boat reach into the Walmart bag and grab your soda and chips. They had a few very polite words for me. They did pick up the bag and I told them the wolfpack thanks you. Which got me a look that was priceless.

One of the things I love about the scouting program is that they teach the kids to "leave no trace" of their presence when they go camping. It kills me to see a nice lake/pond/etc littered with trash. I just don't understand why people won't take out what they bring in. It's one thing to have something blow away from you in the wind. It's another to just drop something and expect someone else to pick it up. I can still remember the 70's commercial showing the tear in the native indian's eye.

I'm really not an emotional person, but that Native American commercial struck a nerve with me....it really makes me upset to see people littering, they just don't care until it's too late!

there should be much stiffer penalties for those caught littering. I for one think besides the fine a person convicted of it should have to spend at the least 40 hours of service picking up litter in the area they were caught. no exceptions.
