Fished with Bill again on Friday....water dropped to 64 degrees....caught big fish early, then from 11 to 3 we moved and could only find dinks....Went back to the beginning at 5pm and the SLABS turned on....Bill took home 11 over 11, with a Big over 13.
We caught fish all day, but the Biggies were at both ends of the day.
Best bites were still on the Craws and White Chartreuse.

Missed a HUGE Bass....dang thing bout pulled the pole out of my hand.
Line went limp, thought it was off, hit again and started coming to the boat...I finally caught up and got the line tight, fish came completely out of the water, shook it's head, and launched the black craw right back at me.
Big difference between Crappie and Bass...BIG DIFFERENCE!

I'm off for 3 more weeks for my eye to HEAL....guess I'll rest it at the lake.lol

Karen and I fished the dam last night but didn't get there until around 6:30-7. Caught only dinks, with the exception of one that was about 10"

Fished tonight with the wife, had a good crappie bite going, shiners on spreaders and flashers on my spreader. Plenty of slabs for the dinner table! Lots of boats today. I wish people cruising near us anchored boats would be considerate with your wake, I had boats pass by me wide open within 50 feet. Fouls the anchor every time. Makes the wife sea sick.

I had the same problem Saturday and Sunday on the lake, one passed me so close I could have cast a line and hit them. they think they own the lake! the fool on the jet ski's are even worse, they follow too close ad when you try to turn they are right in your wake and almost hit you.

Fished this morning from 7:30 till 11 with not much luck on many keepers (4 counting a cat). Wind was an issue after about 9:15 or so,water temp was 65-69deg.However it beats patching, piling gravel or mowing for the Township.
May all the fish tales you catch be longer than the ones you tell !

Went out this morning. Hit the water around 0700. We were on a gator trolling mission. As the kids say these days....the mission was an EPIC fail. We did manage to catch 6 crappies with only throwback. Keepers were all 11-13". Damn gators...one of theses days you'll come to me! Good luck out there. Temp was 67
