    Default Lake Erie


    Had a good trip up to Lake Erie this past weekend. We limited every day on walleye. We were trolling crawler harness's around West Sister Island. The weather was perfect. I only tried crappie for about 15 minutes in the marina and caught 6 over 10 inches in that time. I caught all the crappie on jigs and nibblers.

    Good deal, I'd like to go back up and do some Walleye fishing myself. It's been a couple of years since I've been there. Lots of fun.

    We just moved to Turtle Creek this past fall, we were at Inland Campground. the Turtle Creek Campground is one nice place and those fish cleaning stations are very nice. We didnt do as good as you but we caught some nice fish. Were you using boards or jets and how far back. we wont be going back up for a couple of weeks it a 4 hour drive and with gas being so high it can put a pinch on things. Good job on those fish and keep the reports coming!

    we were using boards with 2 oz weights, anywhere from 30 to 60 back.

    Nice report and nice pics.
    I haven't been there in years. If I would have caught a few of those crappies I never would have made it out on the big lake.
