Default Brookville Lake May 10, 2011

This morning the lake measured 13.8 feet over summer pool and they are still pulling water at 5200 CFS. Barring any big rainfall events it appears to be dropping one foot per day.

down to about 5' over pool, water is awsome looking( a little to clear for my taste actually).
You should ahve seen the mud slide that is garr hill though, looks like they used a backhoe to plow all the mud/silt from the lot and ramp. Still an inch skim of mud EVERYWHERE, and when it gets wet, gets slick.

walleye bite is hot on the north end.

I drove around checking the ramps today. They have been picking up debris, using a power broom then washing off the ramps. In another day or two the lake will be back to summer pool.

So the ramps are open to launch? Is Garr Hill open or is there a better option?

    Hi.
    Saturday, I caught 27 crappie, kept 11 - almost all were 10 + to 13 inches, and
full of eggs. And 6, or 7 Walleye (all young'ins less then 12 inches. All were caught
drift fishing with the wind to the right of the mounds - campground docks.
