Thumbs up rescued neighbor @ Cowan

My fishing partner called and canceled Thursday for the weekend so Friday I saw my neighbor out cutting the grass. He said he had some motor issues so he had to get the boat to the shop. It looked like a weekend of yard work so I invited him to fill the open seat @ Cowan on Saturday. Milt loves to fish and he love to fish for anything but crappie are his favorite.
Milt normally finds a favorite tree and ties up and uses minnows and slip corks to catch some fish. Sometimes he does good sometimes not so good.
When we got to the lake it was packed. I had no idea that the "Fishing has no Boundries" event was going on. I almost left but we decided to try it anyway. We spent the day fishing jig and cork, slip floats and swimming jigs. We had a decent day. I was explaining the value of using quality weedless jigs and darned it we didn't run into Nightprowler. Good seeing you NP. I think Milt is conviced you make good jigs. Thumbs Up

I think all the fish were right around the same size, no real brutes but solid keepers.

We had a decent day and as Night prowler would say a few fish made it home to "the lucky bucket"Rofl

worse than a sinking boat James, he was just going hang out around the house.
yeah it was kind of crazy for sure but it was pretty cool seeing some of those folks having a good time on the lake.

Nice Job Guy’s!!Thumbs Up and Thank's for the compliment. Actually, with the car's taking a good number of the parking places, it was probably a blessing in disguise. It was good seeing you guys on the water. Milt told me that he had found a spot that was really producing for him, when all of a sudden the boat went crashing into the spot and the bite was gone. Funny, same thing happened to me when CMax took me with him :D. Boat Control is a funny thing at times....Rofl. I got to the lake around 10 and the lot was packed. I managed to get launched and was lucky to find an open parking spot only 3/4 mile away. I love fishing the weekends...
