I don't use anything but jigs (aint caught a crappie on a minnow since was a kid pond fishing) & ive got more colors & types than you can shake a stick at- its amazing though how ive fished all day before & been through 8-10 colors till ive found what they like & then its on so buy every color you find & try em all- all my jigs are 1/32, 1/64 or 1/8 oz - I always start with the 1/32 and move up as needed but 1/32 is hands down the best for me- don't forget to get a good mix of marabou in there too- seen the time they wont touch a tube but switch to marabou's & they kill em- the bigger the tail on the marabou the better-
