So far, my induction into crappie casting has been limited to slinging triple threat grubs. But after my last outing where we caught over 75 fish in a few hrs (and literally threw every thing in the box) we only found one color that they wanted to eat. I can't help to think that something else would have caught a few more, I release them all- until I get my 2 pounder anyways.

Long story made short, Ive gave up minnows for specks and need more jigs( never a bad thing), and I've almost got my dad there too. To date all of my fishing is on the black water, Meade/cahoon, western branch res, northwest river and the subdivision retention ponds in church land, deep creek and western branch.

So help me make some crappie lips sore. Give me some suggestions. I've seen mention of a "wasshoppa" ect... Help me spend my money-wisely.
