The lighter flouro definitely makes a difference in clear water. I used to fish Kemper Lake exclusively. You can have 10-12 feet of visibility in the summer, easy. I wouldn't have dreamed of fishing it with hi- vis.

Flouro sucks for casting, but how much am I casting when spider rigging? None. I never had a lick of trouble out of it when spider rigging. Even though flouro is invisible, I still wish somebody made 100% flouro in hi-vis (p-line makes a flouro coated in hi-vis). Mono doesn't hold a candle to the sensitivity of flouro, period, and also flouro sinks like a rock. It's perfect for spider rigging, but nobody's making it in hi-vis. If they ever do... and word gets out of it being a difference maker...watch out...
