Best of both worlds: Enough backbone to snatch a 20 lb. channel cat sideways and enough tip action to see the light bites. When I go real heavy or I'm bottom bouncing, pulling cranks, etc, I just put the Bass Pro tips on. Two rods in one (until I finally pull the trigger on the white rods).
Just for informations sake, because I know some one will want to know, exactly which BPS rod are you using? Is it the Titelines special?
