I had some transmission work on my truck several years ago, and the repairman seen the trailer hitch, and ask if I towed the boat using overdrive, and I said yes. He said that's why your here today for repair. He said these transmission's in today's truck's are not strong enough in overdrive. So from then on I towed the boat without using od. I checked my manual for the truck, and it said not to tow in od. Just seeing how anyone else towed there boat? and if you have had any trouble?
