I figure if I fall off my Excel, the 10 crankbaits right behind it will keep my body close behind it. I put a ladder on the transom when we were rigging it but my fat butt couldn't swim fast enough to catch up then board using the ladder anyway. My luck my remote would decide to go to sleep about the time I hit the surface.

A older fella named Ken fished fairly often fished with a bit younger guy named Dave.Just about every time they fished Ken would fall out of the boat.It got to be a running joke because it happened so often.Dave would always say "ken lost his balance again "......
Rest his soul Ken passed away and Dave took another fella fishing.....Guess what he lost his balance and fell out of the boat too .
His story was Dave turned the trolling motor broadside and switched it on at high speed.......Poor Ken did not have any "balance" problem after all.....

Maybee you I-Link guys need a kill switch.

Is the remote water proof or does it die as soon as it hits the water?
