Thread: More bees....

I would leave them alone as long as they are up high enough to not cause a problem.Honey bees are normally quite tame and just want to do their thing.They may die out on their own with all the problems we have trying to keep bees nowadays.A beekeeper can put a screen funnel over the hole but may be another entrance somewhere.The bees could come out but unable to go back in with a funnel across the hole.That may be better than having to lose the tree.With bees going at 100.00 for a three pound package someone may try to capture them

Yep, they will do anything to get a free hive of bees. Driving through town to get my granddaughter I noticed 3 people climbing a water tower with suits on and bags. I got closer and there were 4 more on the ground. Then I saw a spot about the size of a basketball about 3/4 ways up.
