I have a black walnut with bees, they lay outside like that when daytime temps are hot.

Tree in my yard. Thousands of bees around that hole. Guess honey bees. Was there last year but a lot more this year. Had a guy up trimming limbs last year and he came down in a hurry!!!! He gave up!!! Only way I knew they were even there. That's solid bees around the opening....

Redge LIKED above post
If u want em gone, find a bee keeper. They will move mountains to get the queen and remove the hive.

Not honey bees but this morning I went out to my Dad's to borrow an extension ladder. It was around 60 degrees when we loaded it on my trailer. It was about 70 when I unloaded it and noticed something buzzing around me, it was not yellow jackets, looked like small yellow wasps. Luckily I had some spray and found them inside one of the ladder rungs. I sprayed it from both ends and probably 50 of the little bastages came out, ready for war but not for long.
Been a long time since I got stung but used to be deathly allergic to their stings. I think I missed a good chance.
