Leader is super cheap, I haven't lost one of the Arkie rigs yet and been fishing them since before they hit the market.

Six inches or so, I use the quick snaps as well but you have to watch them, they will straighten out on you if you aren't careful. If one gets stressed I change it out pretty quick, haven't lost a fish because of them yet but I watch em pretty good. I use a loop knot at the top of the leader so it can be put on quick and easy.

They are cheaper at Grizzly Jig. I just put the bass pro link because it had a good picture of what they are.

You just put hook eye or jig eye in it an pull......to remove you just pull it out. Needle nose pliers make it easy.
