Boat flooring. Vinyl vs. carpet?

Anybody ever installed vinyl instead of carpet? Experience? Cost? Where to buy? Etc. I kind of like what I see in the boats at Bass Pro and my carpets needs replacing. Looks a lot easier to keep clean, etc.

Vinyl has a tendency to wear out where your feet are on it all the time. Not a fan of it.

I ordered my Xpress with a sprayed in floor and carpet on the decks. Like to fish on carpet, cooler and quieter. But the floor cleans up easier if it gets slimed.

Just sold 2006 war eagle that had vinyl from factory . was only on front deck and very back between pod seats . pressure washing was a snap . would buy again . I most likely do not fish near as much as some though . Twice a week is all I get .

No, it's a lot cooler.
