I have had boat with carpet and 2 without. I will never have carpet again just doesn't fit the way we fish. If we step on minnows or track buckshot mud in the boat I can take a washer and clean it up. The first boat I bought that had vinyl was used for 7 years of abuse. I used this boat for duck hunting, running the river to bow hunt and for fishing. I never had problems with wear. I did have a buddy sling a lock on deer stand on the back deck and tear a small area of the flooring. I have had the boat that I have now for 4 years with no wear issues. I'm not saying that some vinyl doesn't have wear issues but I have not had any issues with War Eagles vinyl.

Carpet is nice for sure but just doesn't work for us! To much of a PIA to keep clean. I like the fact that I can fish in the rain without the carpet getting soaked. Squished minnows in the floor, mud, blood and fish slime just pressure wash it right out!
