We quit going .a couple of years ago due to the problems with the salvinia grass. Are they about to get it under control?
Giant Salvina, is still around, it wasnt to bad this yr, high water and wind pushed a lot of it over the spillway. We can always find pleanty of places to fish where the salvinia isnt bad, went up big cypress and the river but current was a bit strong with lake of the pines dumping water. Heard they have a spray made from some enzyme from the salvinia itself that will kill it with no harm to the cypress trees , mabe they will buy it and use it with arieal application, the spray they have now willl kill trees it it gets on them.
