So sorry for your loss. As time goes by, you will find him still fishing with you when you find yourself doing something the way he told you to do it. Almost feels like he is looking over your shoulder and he probably is.
Believe and trust in the Lord to see you through the rough spots.

Prayers sent . My dad has been passed 20 years this Feb. 12 . We shared as much time as possible hunting/fishing . Like you I felt like I could never enjoy hunting /fishing without him . Arthritis is taking a toll even with shots , but I am going along even today because I can hear his laughter , feel his sense of pride , and almost breath his presence every time I go out . It has been said that you are not complete until you lose someone that you love more than yourself . the lord bought you to it he will see you through it . I have two sons and someday we will part and the cycle will repeat again . With out the hurt the love is not there . Friend you are in my prayers .
