So sorry for your loss. I too lost my dad a few years back during the holiday season. One thimg for sure is the family of crappie.com was there for me. It's been two yesrs now and I am just now to the point of really thinking about it. Your dad is in a much better place and isn't suffering anymore. God bless.

I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss. It is hard to lose a loved one any time of the year but when you lose one on or near a Holiday it cuts even harder, I know because I lost my dad on Fathers Day of 85. Let me tell you that over time the hole in your heart does tend to get smaller but the love for him grows even bigger.
Sounds like your farther has made a fisherman out of you, you should never stop fishing as he will be with you on each trip. Take what your father gave you and pass it along to others.
My Thoughts and Prayers will be with you all day today and every day to come.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my grandfather Christmas Day 1992. He was my best friend. I still think of him every Christmas.

God bless you. I am sorry for your temporary loss of your Dad. When my Dad lay dieing, his mind would wander. We would watch as he talked to my uncle as if they were fishing. My uncle had passed 45 years before. But they were right there fishing in that room. Reason I tell you this, is so you know your Dad will still be fishing as he is waiting for you. And you better keep fishing, cause he is going to be getting better at it every day and waiting to out catch you the next time. Praying for you and yours.
