Hoses should be the same length as your cables.

I like Uflex for a single engine 150 up. I like the SeaStar also, but it's more pricey. The Teleflex SeaStar is a must for multiple engine hookups.

I only have one engine

tks on the length--I was thinking that was the case but wasn't 100%

The Baystar is rated up to 150hp, but the Uflex is rated for 150 and up. Go Uflex if ya don't go with the pricier SeaStar.

Nice thing about hydraulic hoses is they are flexible. If ya get them a foot to long you can hide it.

I've got the right equipment to purge the system of air and put the fluid in at the same time after its installed. Give me a shout and I'll bid on the job. Get your BEST deal first, and then call me.

Well this hyd steering is going to add about 20 pounds to the weight of the boat. The dern helm feels like a cinder block lol
