looking good Chris, from what I can see you better have a good framer.
Looking Good.... What kinda insulation ya using. And what type windows, h&a? Being in the a/c business I'm always thinking about the power bill.....
Thinking about the expanding foam insulation, will have vinyl double pane windows, and 2 three ton a/c units.

Chris, the way they did ours was sprayed 1 1/2 in of expanding foam then the regular bat type insulation over that. Does a pretty good job. Just need to make sure they seal good around windows. My neighbor has a insulation I had never seen before. They put a netting from celling to floor and stapled it to each stud. Then they sprayed in a mixture of shredded paper insulation mixed with some kind of glue. It works pretty good because he has a lot more house than us and his utility Bill is about a third less.

Use the open cell if you foam..... Fill the wall cavities and put 5.5 in ceiling. This will give you your best power bill and be your quickest payback. My cabin has this method. It's 3200 sq ft and the power bill runs from 75-150 a month .averages about 100 yr round. We do a lot of foam houses and the closed cell houses do not have as good power bills. Stay away from the cellulose (ground up newspaper). It will give good power bills but your house will stay dusty. I have it in my house , so I know this for a fact.
Oh take a look at low e on your glass it helps year around and it's cheap..... Hope this pointers help . Good luck whichever way you go.
