Thread: posts ruining our smoking

All these pictures of smoked meats have been having a negative impact on our meat smoking. I used to go yo the grocer and have the meat department to myself. Then a few folks started posting pics of butts and loins. Before long the word got out on the masterbuilt smoker. Quickly got to where you couldn't go into Lowes and look at one without someone wheeling up and looking at the same one you were looking at. Got to where folks would wheel by and see you inspecting one and when you left they would pull up and start reading the same label you just left! Then folks began giving out the exact directions as to how to smoke butts and fatties. Meat counters at the big four ( Kroger, Sam's, Walmart and Costco) can't handle this demand. Notice how the butts have increased in price and the size is sure to decrease. Gonna be hard to find a decent keeper butt if this keeps up. In closing I suggest we might post a simple pic of smoked meat but curtail all the info. Thank you.
