    265 is width 70 is percent of sidewalls to width so yes a 265 is taller than a 245 because of percentage. A 245 70 is over a inch taller than a 245 60

    With this new information. Will the 245s work on my truck, then I can change them out to 265s in a few months without hurting my truck?

    Yeh, I got that part. Should throw it off a few MPH. The rims are nice and the tires on it only have 10k on them. I'm planning on putting 265s on it when it's time for new ones in a couple years. Just need to know if they'll be OK for now

    Use the speedo on your navigation devise and JUST DO IT!!!! They Will work.

    They will work, the revolutions I posted earlier is spot on. The width of the rim will be a factor as well but shouldn't be a prob. If they were to rub when you turn sharp then you could put a spacer behind the wheel to move them out a little bit to clear.
