Poor Frodo! I remember my grandpa's hunting dogs getting bit. He was a big believer in rubbing alcohol. He had a Redbone that got bit on the muzzle by a copperhead. That dog's face swelled up huge. Grandpa bathed it in alcohol 2 or 3 times a day and believe it or not, the dog made it.
