    That's what I was always told to do, most of the time mine were worn out before the fourth year though.

    How bout your spare KD. You got a good one?Those 70's have a lower sidewall which with the vehicle your dad was using to pull the boat with kept him from backing in quite as far to float the boat!Just my guess!
