Rule of thumb on boat trailer tires....replace with new ones every fourth year no matter how good they look. Also its always best to buy trailer tires, not small car tires. Get radial trailer tires in the highest load rating available for the size.

Mike, not going to say it. I got mine from Gateway. Best price I could find on Radial trailer tires anywhere in our area. So far real satisfied with them. Mine are 14's.

Yep--I was just waiting for the shoe to drop--going by Gateway when I get off work--got one wheel in the back of the truck now. Mine are 14s but a goofy size-225/70R14--I've looked on line all over the place and everything is 205 or 215--but I suppose Gateway can fix me up for maybe an arm and not an arm and a leg.

There is no telling how old these were--6 year old minimum

I put Gateway 215/75R14 PowerMaster TowMax trailer tires on my RangerTrail. They are rated to handle glass boat weights. I don't know any reason to need a 70 series tire.
