Scott, those baits on the left look just like some of my old Bagley Balsa baits.

They look like good baits Gary. Here's the way they looked when I got them, minus the eyes.

I learned my lesson after that. I'll just paint a couple before I test them. Lol
I read everything I could find about buying the blank baits before I committed to them. I heard some horror stories about some of them. I bought the finished baits on my 1st order so if they were garbage I would know it quickly. Knock on wood, every one has tracked good. I also bought a bunch of the Rebel Wee R crappie cranks and except for a couple, they have run true. I have extensive experience tuning the Wee Rs since I used to throw them a lot for bass. That doesn't mean I want to tune any of them anymore. I've run some of the C187s and a shallow version of the same bait on droppers and they were fine. I did find if I ran one of those right beside one of my custom painted Bandit 100s, the Bandit would out catch it big time. Probably 5 to 1.

I painted all of them. It gives me a break from the taxidermy work and I've already got the airbrush equipment. I typically use lacquer paint for my taxidermy but bought Createx acrylic paint to do the cranks. I use an Iwata Custom Micron B for painting fish but use a Badger Renegade Velocity airbrush for baits.
