Steve and I wore the crappie out at Okatibbee pushing the little Arkie cranks with the 3 oz pushing weight. We let out 10 ft of line which had it running about 8 ft deep. I just got 50 more of the Arkie cranks in the mail yesterday.

I know it will be a sacrifice on my part but I am willing to take all Arkie crank baits during that difficult breakin period so as not to have any crappie fisherman or women injured.![]()
FISH ON
Yes, about 3 foot in front of the crank.

It's an in-line trolling weight that's 3 ft up the line from the crankbait. The weight pulls the bait down to the depth you want to run it.

10-4....never trolled or pulled cranks....I like my single pole....but may give it shot one of these days.....I don't need the fish but do like being on the lake regardless....
