I am about to dip my feet (or crankbait) in the water for crappie. So far I have only used jigs. If you were to run half jigs and half cranks what do you think would the split be on fish caught on jigs vs. cranks?
I want to try the crank baits, just trying to figure out what works best.

Problem is trying to run them side by side. Speed going to be a lot faster with the cranks than you would normally pull jig's. Now think if that's what you want to do I'd try pushing a couple out the front while pulling jig's. Seems to me they push better at slower speed than pulling.

I have been having luck pushing the smaller Flicker Shads. Just wish they had better colors.
