Yeah check with Joe Shurden, he want rip you off. On another note, I had a friend who once bought a stick steering boat that had sat up for a long time. The steering cable was seized up. We drilled a couple tiny holes in the cable and squirted an entire can of WD-40, while working it back and forth. It loosened up and we put a dabb of silicone over the hole. The boat was fine from then on.

Thanks guys. At least I know that these idiots in Meridian aren't gonna do it. I'm getting my boat tomorrow morning and starting back from scratch. I'll be going into rehab before this crap is over.

Don't know your motor size but I had seastar hyd steering on a 115hp suzuki and I loved it. Now I am spoiled. Would not have anything other than hyd steering.

    Did
a utube search on haudraulic steering and here is a video! Seems kinda simple. The cost may be high but for what the cost is for just double cable system it may be the way to go!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYFAUIMzkgs
