can't do it on the explorer but it's NO problem with the F350

don't think it has any of those? Would be nice if that was it--but doing some research--easiest would be solenoid pack (couple hundred bucks) but probably not that lucky--more than likely it's a broke band or servo housing gone--in either of those cases it all comes apart--which I don't have the time to mess with which means taking it to a freaking shop--I hate that.
