We were one of those trucks. We did not see regular parking places. Did we over look them in the dark. If so where are the regular ones at? Thnx Lee

I never saw any regular parking places at Engineers point either Bama.....and none close by that I know of.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

At Engineers Point it states that using boat trailer parking for regular vehicles is only prohibited on weekends and holidays.
Guess the only ramp I use that has non-trailer spaces is Grenada Landing.

Handi 8s correct. Signs clearly state that on Fri, Sat, Sun and holidays vehicles without trailers are prohibited. Everyone has a cell phone. Call the Rangers. They will issue citations. Other days are first come first serve.
My apologies to any and all I may have offended. Bottom line is it's just that time of year. Glad to see everyone fishing when they can. Good luck to everyone today and this weekend.
the view is better from the backroads
last week we went to sardis and stopped in parking lot to get boat ready before backing down ramp, truck pulled around us and went to ramp, backed down ramp and then started getting his boat ready. if he was ready to launch before me fine go around but no he was not and i had to wait for him to get ready anfd launch. some people just don't get it or don't care.
Don't think you offended anyone.
This has happened to us, too. Three rigs getting ready in the parking lot and one rig rolling past everyone to unload on the ramp.
