Paint job was put off after the last time I pulled the camper with the old ford. My back is just trying to get over that trip. So that is the reason to get something that rides better.

Now as for the train horns, I was thinking 4 am at grenada should work for those. Better not say that, someone else will do it and I'm on the tracks. Plan on putting a cut off switch to keep anyone from hitting the horns. I just touched them saturday and will never do that again. Had the door open and hit them. Just a split second and my hears hurt for 3 days.
I just hope it can pull the white lund loaded down with crappie.
But then again my limit or load of crappie is only 3 fish.

Still have your blue fish hair figure we will meet up something between now and grenada. I'm going to yellow creek or Bear creek Monday and Tuesday if the winds don't blow me off the lake.

Buddy she would try to pull a horse trailer with it. And then you would be without a boat or truck. Are you going to be at Grenada?

Chevy Kodiak c5500 custom with a one of a kind build. 2004 Diesel pusher cummins 5.9 24 valve motor 6 speed Allison Trans. Great MPG and pulls awesome plus even has a auto track sat dish system in it. Man I feel like a redneck for sure now. Still giving the chrome stacks and flames though. Not sure if they will stay or go. Also has train horns on top the rack next to the drivers exhaust stack. Those will be going under the truck. They will scare the scales off a crappie at 100 yds. Hope it makes a fine every day truck plus pull our camper and the boat behind that.

You can pull my lake house with that rig. Might be tough putting some wheels under the slab tho.

But will it pull my new crappie boat you have been using? Behind the 41ft 5th wheel camper and the Lund ? Got to even take the kitchen sink. Hope your right and it does pull anything I hook up to . Ran a lot of miles on it yesterday and today and fuel hand has not moved enough to even know it moved yet. May be the best fuel millage truck I have ever driven.

Now if Billbob will will loan me $600.oo I will fill it up with fuel. Will be pulling the camper to Pickwick a week from Sunday and fishing all week there. Then to Grenada... Fun Fun Fun.

Just a word of caution from an RVer. We traveled all over the US after I retired pulling a car behind our Motorhome. We sold our house and were fulltime RVers for 5 years.
There are some states that do not allow tandem towing so be sure and check if you are going out of state with it. I assume it is OK in Mississippi. It is not in SC and one of my friends got an expensive ticket by not knowing the law.
Just a heads up. That is a nice looking rig for sure and I know you will enjoy it.

Oh yeah-- I'm loving my new to me diesel--great MPG compared to my f250 with 5.4l.
