    Brian find what you might like and give Brian at BBG Marine on here a message. He had by far the best price around. He has some dang good deals. Plus I got my df in the mail the next day.

    I am totally lost and outdated when it comes to fishing electronics, so i have a lot of questions. Will i have to buy sd cards for ross barnett and okatibee so i can mark gps coordinates in it?

    No, it will mark them to your internal memory. The cards are for maps of the lakes, some are good some arent. Best to ask before you start buying them. think the Navionics south has both those lakes on it.

    I have learned just lately looking , that the lakemaster cards do not . At they don't have barnett . I was told the navionics platnuim south had them on it . I use a sd card to take snap shots with mine . And up dates from the computer and way points can be put on the computer and then the card and then the way points on your finder . I have a hb 597 di and one a little bigger with si . They are fun to play with .

    Supposedly Lakemaster is supposed to be coming out with a card that will have more lakes on it in mississippi

    you should think long and hard before you buy a hummingbird. Not very dependable at times.

    I agree the sales guys at bp don't know a lot . But the guys on here can get you on it . They know . Oh and i am not one of them .

    Had both in past and can't tell much difference. both work fine for me.
    Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
