    Are y'all talking about breaking the sickle jig or sickle Aberdeen? I've seen quite a few of the sickle jig hooks break at the 90 if they're not encased in a lead head. Not so much with the sickle Aberdeen.

    I ain't been fishing them but about 2 yrs. but never have had 1 brake!

    Yep. Last order made sure that they were Aberdeen.

    Used sickle jig hook and sickle aberdeen. Never broke either. Been using them exclusivly for two years now.

    Was referring to the sickle jig hooks.

    I use both. I've pulled them out when hung and bent them back in place never broke one.

    That's what I thought. I believe they are intended to have a lead head making up for the strength lost during bending. Try the sickle Aberdeens, they're tough and extremely sharp.

    the red sickle 90 jig hooks would break the black chrome havn't heard of any breaking they are pretty tuff dont handle much of the red hooks anymore unless they are Aberdeens straight shanked
