    I don't agree with you much Rees but your right on this.I can't stand them not lining up when reeled tite.That's one reason I quit using them.Not sure about all the other rods but the Ozarks and Crappie maxx line up perfect.

    The Fishing Butlers are about 3 bucks a pair, but they cinch down tight and come off quicker. Don't have to twist em around the pole to get em tight. You can hang you poles with the tag end of the Fishing Butlers too.

    I have used the pony tail things tho , and they do work purdy good.

    I never have this problem, I don't ever break my poles down. Had my pro staffs for a few years and never once broke them down.
