    To do what you want John they would have to mount a rod guide right on the ferrule where the rod breaks down.....don't think you will see that on any manufacturer

    Lot of manufactures have rod that break down a lot better than that, got one PST left and it will soon be gone. Not sure I have seen anyone but BnM do this, especially on two piece rods.
    I am not slamming the BNMs, didnt start the thread to do that just looking for options.

    Since it's such a big problem just send all them mismatched poles to me. I dont have a problem fish with janky equipment
