    I never knew that just by adding a reel and some line that it made my rod 6 inches longer. If id only known that long ago

    Crappie commander, kind of in between a bgjp and a pst, both sections are the same length, nice rod just expensive to ship. It appears scottV has the glass firecast, we sell those too, around $25, may be under the panfish special label, same rod though.

    Is the problem the placement of the eyes on the tip section that keeps them from lining up correctly when you tighten down on em? Sounds like the last eye on that tip section is to close to the joint to reel it on up that 6".

    Look up "Fishing Butlers". They'll hold your rods much better, and are easy to use. Best little rod holders I've found when breaking them down.

    I just use the braided Pony Tail holders like women use,they are just like a rubber band but the sun and heat dont bother them. and they are cheap

    I use those too. I love buying them at Wal Mart, a bald headed man buying pony tail holders. I get some looks. Lol
