That's the one i used to use in 30/06. They always did a great job for me. Would leave a good hole. I would still use them, but they are hard to find around here.

180 gr. core lox in 30.06.Usually hunt the thick stuff and don't get too many wide open shots.

The bonded cores like the Accubond will do a good job of expanding up close. But I still like the Remingtons.. I like a big hole going in, and a bigger one coming out. Can't track and find one without the blood trail. Most times it will be a bang flop. I hate to lose one, just makes me sick.

That's exactly what I shoot in my 270. The Federal Premium with the Sierra BTSP. My gun really shoots them well.

If I continue using the 270 WSM where I'm hunting now, I'll be using a heavier round nose bullet. The 130 grain polymer bullet is designed for long range accuracy instead of short range bullet expansion.

Yea, he had gone about 100 yards in a pine thicket. My buddy and I had walked all over him last night without seeing him. He wasn't dropping blood so tracking him was not an option. It wasn't cold enough last night so I just left him laying there.

Winchester supreme ballistic silver tips are the best bullets made in my opinion. Not sure about the accubond never had any but won't be trying them now
