Payne Plumbing out of Olive Branch could likely do Hernando with no problems. I got to know Danny Payne on a project he did for me...he's as honest a guy as I've ever met...something I really appreciate in a contractor.

cool--I was wondering about that on the seats--but like ma'ma saidreally want to go with PVC and the cartridge type valves--lots easier I think on the maintenance--but we will see--thanks for all the input--greatly appreciated.

Ok, I became a lectrician because I hate plumbing and painting. That being said, if I were to re plumb my house, I'd consider using pex instead of PVC.

All of the faucets in my house are brass. When I change a washer, I change the seat. The only place to find parts is at Southaven Supply, not the box stores. Still good after 40 years.
Father-in-law changed to washerless faucets years ago. The rubber cup will wear a groove in the plastic. A cup kit won't stop a leak. So another new faucet.
Nephew's single shower plastic control needs to be changed out. Needs a hole in the living room wall of a 3 year old house.
We use pex line everywhere we can. You still have brass fittings to the faucets
I maintained a lot of restaurants in the '80 and '90's, most had American brand faucets (all brass) the best made. One manager wanted a new plastic faucet on a triple sink, so I changed it out. The cup kit lasted a week. I was changing kits out every day at the 3 week period. I reinstalled the old faucet, best income I had that month.
Havent done any plumbing in a while but whats pex?
