Can you hunt deer with a decoy ? I din't think you could but they make them and sell them in ms . I know e;ectronic calls are only legal for nusiance animals . But what about deer decoys ?

Don't know about Mississippi, but you can in Arkansas. I'd be scared to carry it around during gun season around here.

I think the decoys are for archery only.....not real sure tho

They are legal for any wepon. Not sure if they work or not but I bet it would be a good tool if u got narrow fire lanes and have trouble with deer crossing to fast. Bet an old buck would at least stop and look at it for a minute. Be careful though, prob throw some orange over it when your heading in and out.

Here in Illinois buck decoys are sometimes the final death punch for a big ol bruiser. We place one in open fields like corn or bean fields right on field edges where bucks come to check for does in heat and usually only about 15-30yds from our tree stand (were using archery) if A buck comes out that thinks it's dominate it will often times come and confrot the decoy and put on a pretty good show doing it.
