The rifle has been in a case in the safe since I got it. I've never shot it even when he was alive. We could find a turtle swimming in the pond with the spotting scope, he would shoot it.
We'll have to leave here before 4 am to be at BPS about 4:30.
100,000 rounds of 22s? I've bought about that many this past years, The grandkids shoot them as fast as I can buy them.

I have killed a many with a single shot 22 that you had to pull back the firing pin to shoot . Carried the extra bullets in my mouth so i could load it faster so anykind of scope will increase your vision . Can't see good enough to do it anymore . Practiced by shooting hickory nuts off the trees in the yard at 50 yards . So you can do it . Go get them .

weaver vr-7 rimfire is a great scope but it's a 150.00 scope most places . 2x7x28 . Folks get led astray with bigger objective draws more light . It does "but" better quality glass will rule evertime. Jmo.

have you been in grandaddy's liquor cabinet again. I am calling BS ( and i dont mean bass pro shop) This story would be believable if you would have said that yall hit water at 350 yard but i dont buy that you shot turtles that far. A slight breeze would move a 40 or 50 grain bullet several feet at that distance. Now you may get someone else to believe this but aint no boys south of the mason dixon line going to buy this one

My FIL could shoot a 22, all they used to do on Sunday afternoons. used to shoot thumb tacks on a board at 25 yards or so and get mad if he missed one. Never been a good iron site shot myself, eyes wont focus on the rear and front site at the same time. Shoot a scope on everything but a shot gun, shotgun when turkey hunting. DD I got a ATN you could stick on one of em but the thing weighs as much as one of them rifles, gonna need 30mm rings too.
