Thread: E-Z Poleholder does it again

Went to MS fall camp needing a solution for a rod rack and saw several and then looked at the one that Gene had on his boat and liked and told him my problem and of course he comes up with a solution. I needed to span about 8 feet between racks and Gene said that the poles wouldnt take it so the idea was to put another rack in between and instead of fastening it down to run a tube down the top and let it hang from it. The idea was to use square tubing just like everything was made of but I am trying 1/2 inch schedule 80 plastic pipe on it that way it will swivel out of the way to open my rod locker. I put a support on the bottom of it to take out the bounce and hoping that if i want to cover the boat I can just undo the ends and pick it all up in one piece and lay it down so that cover will fit. It will now hold my short poles too. sorry about the sideways pic cant figure out to turn it
