Bama has a great team. Everyone knows that. As far as complaining about Freeze not kicking fg's, he did what any underdog would do on the road at the #1 team in the nation. He knew he wasn't going to beat Bama kicking fg's so I don't blame him for going for it so much.
Now some of his play calling was suspect. I wouldn't have let Treadwell throw a pass, especially in a crucial situation. But, all in all it's not the end of the world and we will bounce back. I saw we were still in the AP Top 25 despite the loss.
As far as Bo running his mouth--that is NOT what he was doing. His quote last week was taken completely out of context--as usual with the media--and they made a story out of it and ran with it. What QB wouldn't stand up for his teammates and say he thinks they are better than someone else?!?! Also, his quote about putting points on the board against Bama, there was nothing wrong with saying that. Ole Miss hadn't been shut out of a game since 1998. Heck, I thought we would score too!
Bottom line is I hate Bama, but you have to respect them. They are the best at what they do. Ole Miss is fine and still gonna win at least 9 regular season games this year. A couple more recruiting classes like last year and maybe we can catch up with the Bama's of the world.
