Sure makes it easy. Wife wanted a new bed and I didn't trust the slats. We got a king platform bed so I built 3 supports out of wood I had laying around

You better run you a board across the top of those supports so all the slats can lay on them and distribute the weight. U going to bust the other slats if u dont.
