System Restore and Marvel mystery oil. Drain oil first, change filter and oil, fill back up. Look for metal in oil pan! Put a magnet in drain pan and swirl it around. Take it out and see just how bad it looks.How many miles on motor?Sounds like a build to me!Check around for cheap motor on Craigs or E-Bay! Definately screw a compression guage into each cylinder and compare to factory numbers!Is it a 6 or 8 cylinder?If the truck is worth all that, a good long block and all your accsesories put back on may be cheaper if you don't have the tools for a build yourself!
