They also have to pay you for any damages, loss of income, compensation for lowered property value if the road is close to the house, timber value, etc. etc. And never take the first offer....but you better take the second one ( its always better) because you will not like the third one. Keep a cool head and don't lose your temper when negotiateing with them.
