The Lauderdale County Sheriff as well as the Clark County Sheriff announced today that the ruling by the Hinds County Circuit Judge does not effect laws passed by the MS Legislature in other areas of the state. They had talked with legal council and the Attorney General's Office. Open carry is in effect here.
