    Default Open Carry In Effect


    The Lauderdale County Sheriff as well as the Clark County Sheriff announced today that the ruling by the Hinds County Circuit Judge does not effect laws passed by the MS Legislature in other areas of the state. They had talked with legal council and the Attorney General's Office. Open carry is in effect here.

    I'm not pro or con open carry. It's part of our second amendment and I respect everyone's rights. I carry concealed myself. I just posted this as info.

    The second amendment does not mention open or concealed.....the way it reads it would seem to be either way.....The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

    I'm still going to carry concealed regardless. I think it's safer.
